TEPEE BLANKET -is a tribute to the tepee, the strong yet lightweight, easily transportable shelter of nomadic Native American tribes.It was often decorated with elaborate designs representative of their owners. Tepees were important symbols of family and community. They also served as gathering places for important ceremonies and rituals.
Similar to the originals (circa 1910-1928) this PENDLETON ®
blanket features a pattern that runs off the edge of the blanket so that, according to legend, it will not trap spirits.
